Amazon = Amazing

Amazon.com is seriously the best ever. Here's why:

1. I ordered several items after 11pm on a week day and the package was at my door when I got home from work the next day.

2. This series of emails between myself and Amazon customer service about a different package that was briefly missing:

Hi, The tracking information says that this package was delivered on
Dec. 10, but I did not receive it. Is this something that Amazon can
deal with, or do I need to contact the USPS?

Thank you for writing to us at Amazon.com.
I am sorry that you have not received this order; it appears the
package may be lost. Please accept our sincere apologies for this
inconvenience.
I have placed a new order for the item. There will be no charge for
this replacement.
I've also upgraded the shipping method to Two-Day Shipping
at no additional charge.
Again, we are very sorry for any inconvenience you have experienced.
We value your business and hope to see you again at Amazon.com.

Hi, I had a second order placed because my first package was marked as
delivered but hadn't shown up, then both the old order and the new
one showed up. I haven't opened the second (replacement) package. I
received it from UPS and I tried to look on their website for
refusal procedures, but I couldn't find that information. Should I
just return it and pay the shipping? And where do I return the
package?
Thanks for your help,
Julia Burns

Greetings from Amazon.com.
Thank you for letting us know you have received both the original
and replacement shipment. We appreciate your honesty and apologize
for the inconvenience. Please return one of the packages at your
earliest opportunity.
Please visit our online Returns Center for further instructions.
Here you will be able to print a postage-paid return shipping label.
If you no longer have your packing slip, please write your order
number on a slip of paper.
Thank you so much for your cooperation, and thanks again for
shopping at Amazon.com.

I've heard this story already, but I just have to say that is the most amazing customer service I have ever seen. It makes me want to do more shopping on Amazon.

I have had similar good experiences with Amazon, including free shipping because an item was temporarily on backorder.
