I don't understand men.

I realized recently that as much as I thought I understood men, I don't. Not even one bit. I don't understand the choices they make or how their minds work or why they do anything that they do.
So hey, if you are a dude and you are reading this, explain yourself to me please. That sounds like a huge task, but all I want is for you to just pick one aspect of male behavior and explain it to me.

Care to share what caused this? It might be easier to explain the "male psyche" in a particular situation. Picking one aspect is hard. If its too personal I

women are more emotional and men are more rational. this causes confusion in both parties when they expect the other to think more like themselves. plus, midgets.

VHS says: Han fired first.

Yes! Of course Han fired first. I was testing you.

No particular event, men are just confusing. There are so many jerks out there. I agree that problems are caused when men and women expect each other to think more like themselves. Also, I decided that another issue is that men have concentrated evil hanging off of their crotches in the form of a penis.
A friend of mine was recently making out with a guy and he decided that it would be a good idea to unzip his pants and just kind of shove her head into his lap. This is not a miscommunication between the sexes. This is a guy being a complete asshole.

I'm a little weirded out by semi-coherent spam messages...

I think part of what was going on in the example cited is that men are typically pretty direct. When we get an idea, we want to take all the way to its logical conclusion. So while your friend is probably thinking their making out is just making out, a guy is thinking "woman i don't know kissing me. must be easy. sex is good." and immediately tries to take this idea to the next logical step.

Of course, i'm assuming this encounter was of the "random hookup" variety. Yikes, I don't want to sound like I'm defending the guy. Shoving is bad, mmmkay. And perhaps i'm the only one who gets an idea and becomes obsessed with its extreme.

Part of the reason guy get along well with guys and girls get along well with girls is because we also don't expect as much from our same sex. When you need more from somebody, you're going to run into more wierd quirks that you may or may not ever be able to figure out.

Ah... this is a dumb comment. I'm quitting while i'm ahead.
